Nathan Palmer and his streetwear brand Perverse Demand will play an integral role in putting Welsh fashion on the cultural map at Cardiff Fashion Week 2024.
Nathan Palmer and Perverse Demand – will feature in the designer village and catwalk shows at Cardiff Masonic Hall which will be one of the highlights of Cardiff Fashion Week which takes place from 20 – 27 April.
The week is promising to be a seven day celebration of fashion showcasing the very best design talent of retail and fashion design in Wales.
For Nathan Palmer and Perverse Demand, the week presents an opportunity to showcase their collection on home ground. Nathan Palmer said: “I am really looking forward to flying the flag for home grown talent. It’s an opportunity for all of us in fashion to show what we can do here on our doorstep. Fashion Weeks are popular across the UK and it’s great to see Wales have its own to support the local fashion community.”

Cardiff Fashion Week
Cardiff Fashion Week is being organised by marketing and event management professionals, Natalie Collins and Paula Abbandonato, who have more than 40 years of experience in the field.
Paula Abbandonato said: “Cardiff Fashion Week is a platform to celebrate all that is great about Welsh fashion retail and design. We’ll see a mix of aspiring designers and established professionals rub shoulders with educators, influencers and retailers.”
Natalie Collins added: “We are creating a very inclusive week for everyone who is interested in fashion and styling. Our aim is to become one of the leading regional fashion weeks in the UK providing Welsh design talent with a unique marketing opportunity on their doorstep.”

The event is expected to sell out so anyone interested in attending is advised to get their tickets now.
Other events in the week include a VIP launch celebrating Wales’s first digital catwalk in association with the fashion department at the University of South Wales; a catwalk competition to fundraise for Cardiff Fashion Week’s charitable partner, A-Sisterhood; and a drag show to find the Welsh entry to the international drag event Queen of The Palace,
